Frisco, Texas – An exciting opportunity for individuals who want to begin their careers in the world of sports will take place in Frisco, Texas on Thursday, September 17, 2009.

This job fair will provide a chance to be a part of a new Texas basketball franchise that will begin play in 2010 at Frisco’s Dr. Pepper StarCenter.

Donnie Nelson of the Dallas Mavericks and Evan Wyly of Green Mountain Energy have purchased a NBA Development League team and are looking for high-energy, motivated, passionate sports enthusiasts to be a part of the history-making launch of Texas’ newest sports team.

“We are looking for everything from a head coach to interns and most specifically for ticket sales account executives,” said Nelson. “This team will represent Texas not only in name, but with our most important asset… Texans themselves. We want this to be a team built by and for the people of this community. This next year will be beginning of a brand new sports franchise and we want everyone to be involved.”

Donnie Nelson and team executives will accept resumes from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter located at 2601 Avenue of the Stars, Frisco, TX 75034.
